12 years as a Senior Lecturer on Fashion Business degree, with HEA Fellowship accreditation.

Over 20 years’ experience of all aspects of knitwear and jersey product development and buying, including sourcing and range building.

Managing and mentoring buying and product development teams for knitwear and jersey.

2010 – Present: Founder of My Trained Eye, Fashion industry training courses.

2009 – 2021: The University of Westminster, Senior Lecturer on the Fashion Business Management degree. Course content delivered both face to face and live online.

2010 – 2014: Long Tall Sally, Knitwear Consultant.

2005 – 2009: Oasis, Buying Manager over all knitted product.

1995 – 2005: Oasis, Senior Buyer for knitwear, jersey, swimwear and Indian wovens.

1989 – 1995: The George Davis Partnership, Founding partner. Buyer for women’s knitwear and jersey, George at Asda.

1985 – 1989: Next, Buyer for women’s knitwear/jersey, retail/Directory. Junior Buyer, men’s knitwear/jersey, retail/Directory, including the launch of the Next Directory.
